Second aviary build page 4.

I cut the wood and built the frame, Once all the hard work was
done it was just a case of painting the frame with wood preserver,
I used forest green because it fits in with everything else in
my garden.
Once dry i then stapled the mesh to the inside of the frame to
stop the birds chewing the wood.
the trouble with mesh is that it makes a photo very shiny and
scattered because of the light reflection at different angles.
The last few jobs where to install some perches, toys and willow
branches and 10 bags of pea shingle on the floor.
and finally to fit some budgies to the perches.
these last few photos are shots of the finished aviary, i might
install some breeding cages at a later date depending on cash
flow and also i have to finish the garden too that will take time
but i will post it here and leave an update on my homepage.

And finally some budgies fitted to the perches i used nails and
glue to fix them in place, I currently hold 30 budgies in this
aviary because i dont want to overcrowd it.
and i didn't glue and nail the birds on to the perches so please
don't write in.
( i used screws instead )
end of this project. but i will post pics of my finished garden
whenever it gets done.
